GigHacks - The Essentials

Thanks for bringing your excitement & curiosity to this growing gigabit community and for adding your energy & talent to empower people with these tools.

GIGHACKS kicks off this Friday night, May 1st, at 6pm at (south entrance) and we wanted to share some info and ask you to share as well:

Friday night we would LOVE for you to bring your giga-curious friends. The secret to success here is diversity – of experience, of expertise, of everything – so encourage them to engage and share their perspectives. They don’t have to be programmers to contribute – we need users, visionaries, and project managers as well. We are happy to share dinner and conversation at the awesome space – even if they can’t commit to the whole weekend.

Please come prepared to either pitch a Gigabit application idea (see for some ideas) or join one of the teams that will be pitching to you from Burlington and four other cities, including teams being formed in the areas of: cyber-security, virtual reality/edu-gaming, civic cloud, tele-medicine, kids self- publishing, and clean energy.
